Sublimation transfers:

Must be pressed 50% polyester or higher. We recommend 65% minimum for best results, especially if bleaching.  100% polyester for best results and highest quality and most vivid. Works best on light or white garments. These transfers do not print white where there is white in a design the shirt color will show through. You must use a heat press for these transfers a regular iron will not work. Put unwaxed butcher paper between layers of shirt and on top of design to avoid bleed. If you have never sublimated please ask questions or look into it further before pressing. Feel free to ask any questions. All orders receive a 3" transfer that you can use to practice put on mug pocket or just scrap material.

Recommend pressing at 400 degrees Fahrenheit with medium pressure for 45-60 seconds.
If you see scorch marks hydrogen peroxide mixture will usually  take them away.
These transfers will not adhere to cotton fibers. They will not show up on black or dark colors.

Note that if they look long in the picture they will be longer than the width that you order if you have questions please ask if you need exact measurements .

****Please not that all sizes are approximate and will fit within the given measurement.
**** colors may vary depending on monitor settings and will look different from screen to screen

Sublimation according to Wikipedia is:

the transition of a substance directly from the solid to the gas state, without passing through the liquid state. Sublimation is an endothermic process that occurs at temperatures and pressures below a substance's triple point in its phase diagram, which corresponds to the lowest pressure at which the substance can exist as a liquid.

But to make that more simple it’s basically a type of ink that when put onto certain items such as polyester and heat is applied the image will transfer onto the product without any viny like feel!

What we do here at SubZeroSublimations is sell sublimation transfers so that you can make your own custom products!

We recommend setting your heat press somewhere between 350℉ and 400℉

We recommend that you press the transfer for one minute at medium pressure.

  • What kind of shirt/material should I use with a sublimation transfer?

Sublimation transfers on stick to polyester material we recommend that you use it on fabrics that are at least 65% - 100% polyester. However 100% polyester will have more vibrant colors.

No, sublimation transfers will not be able to transfer onto black or dark colored fabrics. It is best to stay away from dark fabrics and stick to lighter colors. Sublimation becomes part of the fabric by dying the polyester fibers.
